To Cute For Words.....

A recent double layout we completed at one of Annamaire's Scrapbooking classes. 
Annamaire holds a scrapbooking class and crop once a month in the Athlone Springs Hotel.  She also brings her shop with loads of scrapbooking goodies!!  In this layout we have used My Mind's Eye, Fine and Dandy papers and embellishments.

YOU at 16.....

This is a layout I did recently of my son.  It is based on using scrap paper, punches (Martha Stewart) and stamps (Taylored Expressions).

Hello to sunnier days, brighter evenings...

This Year's Easter Egg Hunt..

This year we had an Easter Egg hunt in our back garden.  We made little nests and hid them in the shrubs for the kids to try and find.  The weather was glorious, so we also had a barbeque for the adults.  Great fun had by all!

This is a layout I did a while back at one of Sandie's Scrapbooking classes...... check out her blog , she has some lovely ideas for layouts.  You also need to check out her cards they are to die for!

On this double layout we used K & Company, Que Sera Sera paper, cuttlebug dies for the butterfiles and spellbinder dies for the 'Easter' label.

Picture Inspiration

52 Weeks of Photocentric Creativity & Community

I have joined an online photography e-class with Tracey Clark who will be sharing 52 weeks of weekly inspirations.  Once a week Tracey will be e-mailing a prompt that will encourage and inspire class participants to pick up our cameras and taking meaningful pictures.  The class Picture Inspiration also includes message boards and a gallery to share our images.  Imagine it has started 4 weeks ago I am still pondering about each prompt and wondering what I am going to photograph.  Anyway going to start playing catch up.

 So Week 1: Self portait

So here I am doing the dreaded Self Portrait with darling daughter in background!

We're now getting closer - you can see where this is going!

Oh how we love to pose, but hey if I wanted her to do that do you think she would!

On the road......

My baby Boy has just turned 17 and is now on the road.  He has applied for his Learner Permit and is now driving his Da's car.  A bit apprenhsive but it is all part of our kids growing up and becoming more independent.  Here's a card I made for him.
